Hi guys! Today I have a special blog post. It’s a collaboration among a few German crafters. We “found” each other mainly via Instagram and decided to exchange a few cards amongst each other and feature them on each other’s blogs.
Even though some of my fellow crafters might have written their blog posts in German, I encourage you to check them out because they are crazy talented and their cards should transcend the language barrier
Here’s the list of the participating ladies with links to their blogs and

- Nina * Engelchensbastelstube *
- Anika * Anikarten *
- Lisa * Lisamused *
- Jessa * Jessafeig *

My card took me forever to make. Not only was I struggling with the intricate die cut, I didn’t really think through the entire design before I started so I created a lot of food for my wastebasket. The end result, however, I am more than pleased with.
I think I had the most trouble with the soft water colored background on the white panel. I usually overdo it with the color and there is no softness to it, so I’m always rather jealous of the wonderful Laura Sterckx who manages to create those effortlessly. But I was also pleased as punch to finally use the tag die from Pretty Pink Posh. I had ordered it quite some time ago and now I finally had the chance to use it.
Now that you have seen what I created for my fellow participant in this project, here is the card that I received from the wonderful Sonja Kerkhoffs of The Art of Stamping. I absolutely love this cute elephant from Wplus9 and not only that, she even included a shaker!
The sentiment is German and says “I’m your biggest fan”, which made me blush furiously. Sonja herself is such an accomplished artist (check out her jaw-dropping coloring videos!) that I’m a huge fan of hers! I guess we’ll have give each other autographs (eg. signed cards) And the background, the sky, was done with her new Copic Airbrush system – which means I can look forward to many more cards on her blog with this technique … oh, I’m so excited for her!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you’ll check out the projects that the other ladies created because they are simply fantastic and I’m sure you will find a ton of inspiration.
I’m also sending this card off to the following challenge: Simon Says Stamp “Anything Goes”.
Have a fantastic day!
